To get South African's spending some time (and money) at online retailer Takealot, we staged a funeral for shopping trolleys nationwide. With unbranded trolley graveyards and robotic trolleys in high traffic areas,  trolley culling content online and on air and repurposed designer trolley chairs up for adoption on Takelot, we captured the attention of shoppers and the media.

We revealed another side of our little town worth experiencing – a myriad of cultures, food, experiences, beautiful places to stay and in winter, great deals  -  with a cast of South African tropes and celebs in song.
