26 March 2020: The day the music nearly died. Overnight the COVID-19 Lockdown destroyed the live gig economy.
To help performers get back on their feet we created BUSQR™ - an easy way for them to earn tips from their captive online audiences using simple QR technology that ties into major local and international digital payment gates including Zapper, SnapScan, PayPal, Visa and Mastercard. By re-designing the way live audiences show appreciation and support for their favourite performers, BUSQR™ created a new system of value exchange between artists and their fans while building a global business in a matter of weeks, when it was needed most.
